Juan Diego Botto
It’s a hard day ahead for Rafa, a lawyer with strong social beliefs. He has until midnight to find the mother of a little girl who’s been left alone in an unsanitary housing. If he fails, the police will give the child to foster parents. In his race against the clock, Rafa crosses paths with Azucena, a woman unjustly threatened with eviction, and who, in order to get out of it, tries to provoke a citizens’ revolt.

Juan Diego Botto
Juan Diego Botto is an Argentine-Spanish film, stage and television actor. Born in Argentina, he moved to Spain together with his mother (the actress and acting coach Cristina Rota) in 1978. Following early film appearances as a child actor, he landed a breakthrough role in the 1995 film Stories from the Kronen. He has since starred in films such as Martín (Hache) (1997), Obaba (2005) and Ismael (2013). En Los Margenes, starring Penelope Cruz and Luis Tosar, marks his debut as a film director.
