Zahra Amir Ebrahimi
“Zar” was born in Teheran in 1981. At the age of 16, she took part in her first short films as an assistant director. After becoming an actress, she studied drama at the Islamic Azad University in Teheran, alongside a Fine Arts course at the Charsu Institute. Her career as a director began with her short film âKhatâ. As an actress, she appeared in the films of many Iranian directors, including Mohammad Nourizad, Mojtaba Raie, Abolfazl Jalili, Abbas Kiarostami and at Tehran’s City Theater. Public recognition came with her participation in the TV series Komakam Kon. His role in the cult series Nargess brought him great notoriety. It was against this backdrop that she became involved in a sex tape scandal, despite her denials. Prosecutor Saeed Mortazavi is in charge of the accusation.
