Une bosse dans le coeur

Noé Reutenauer was born in 1991 in Paris. After obtaining his French baccalauréat in theater and film, he moved to Brussels to study at Institut des Arts de Diffusion (IAD). He graduated in 2013 and has been focusing on filmmaking ever since. In 2014, he directed Update, a short fiction film about a burnt out bureaucrate who escapes to an artificial paradise. In 2015, he made another short, Zoufs, on the life of seven individuals suffering from intellectual disability, in which Kirill Patou, the protagonist in A Bump in the Heart, is included. Zoufs was selected for about twenty festivals and won five prizes, including for Best International Movie at FICFA. At the same time, Noé offers many cinema workshops to underprivileged groups – children, teenagers, immigrants, and seniors – in the hope that their voices and images will be heard and seen where you would not expect to encounter them.
