European Young Jury

See you in 2023

This activity is organized in English

For: young European film lovers from 18 to 25 years old

For its 5th edition, the Brussels International Film Festival offers the opportunity to five young European film lovers to become the jury of the Directors' Week competition. They will award the European Young Jury Award to the film of their choice during the festival closing night. Hosted in the center of Brussels, this will be a great opportunity for them to discover the capital’s life, but also to meet professionals from the film industry.

They awarded the European Youth Jury Prize to Three Minutes - a lengthening by Bianca Stigter.

« Thank you so much for the opportunity, which I think it’s gonna stay with me for a long time. I’m really happy about the experience and I feel like it gave me a lot of new perspectives on cinema and a lot of inspos. I also enjoyed the time with the guys and I loved every discussion after a movie. »
