Leo Castaneda is Spanish, he lives in Brussels, where he drives the metros of the line 6. One evening, he catches the eye of a young man at the edge of the platform. Feverish eyes of distress, a familiar face… Leo recognizes his son Hugo, when he tragically disappears on the tracks! Leo who had not seen him for more than two years, will discover that Hugo was involved in a bloody robbery. He will have to face some violent criminals to try to understand the reasons behind the death of his son.

Giordano Gederlini was born in Chile, he lives in Brussels. BETWEEN LIFE AND DEATH is an urban thriller that he wrote and directed in 2021. As a screenwriter, Giordano co-wrote LES MISERABLES by Ladj Ly (Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the Lumière Awards 2020, César for Best Film 2020 and nominated for the Oscars), DUELLES by Olivier Masset-Depasse (among others Best Screenplay and Best Film at the Magritte 2020) and KILLERS by François Troukens and Jean-François Hensgens.
