Emilie Aussel
Emilie Aussel (1980, Montpellier, France) studied fine arts at the Beaux-Arts in Montpellier and at Villa Arson in Nice before completing her studies in cinema at Le Fresnoy. After exploring the medium of video art, multi-screen video installations and video creations for choreographic, theatrical and musical performances, she moves to narrative fiction. Since 2009, she wrote and directed four short films focusing on coming-of-age stories. They have screened at numerous festivals including Rotterdam, Clermont-Ferrand, Brive, Vila do Conde, Thessaloniki, Geneva. OUR ETERNAL SUMMER is her debut feature film.
