The main actress, Michelle Yeoh, won the 2023 Golden Globe Award for Best Actress for her role in this movie.
Synopsis :
Evelyn and her husband Waymond have a dwindling laundry, a rebellious daughter and a seemingly endless tax bill. And it is precisely when everything becomes too difficult that the universe is torn into a multitude of distinct universes. Evelyn is no longer just the owner of a laundromat, but also an international movie star, a kung fu master, a chef or perhaps the heroine that everyone needed all along.
