Christophe Rolin
Talia, een jonge Afro-Belgische vrouw, bezoekt voor de eerste keer haar land van afkomst, Senegal. Ze komt aan in Dakar in de luxueuze villa van haar Senegalese familie, waar ze haar grootmoeder hoopt te vinden. Maar haar grootmoeder is afwezig en de villa wordt snel een gouden gevangenis. Op een dag ontmoet ze Malika, een mysterieuze rondtrekkende vogelverkoopster.

Director and director of photography, Christophe Rolin began his career as a filmmaker with Marc Recchia, editor and director, with whom he made his first films outside the traditional production circuits. Christophe likes to film in natural light, prefers natural settings and the discovery of new talents. His favorite themes are the quest for identity and exile, which are also the subject of his first feature film “Le Voyage de Talia”.
