Leïla Albayaty
Leila Albayaty is of French and Iraqi origins and works in various countries. She is self-taught and engages in writing, directing, acting, drawing, and composing music for her films. She directed the short film « VU » (2009), which received a special mention at the Berlinale 2009. « BERLIN TELEGRAM » was selected in thirty international festivals and received the TV5 award for Best Francophone Film at Geneva. « FACE B », a 40′ docu-drama, had its World Premiere at the Berlinale 2015.
