The Pop-Up Meetings are a bilingual (French/Dutch) event which objectives are to develop collaborations between the North and the South of the country and to support emerging talents.
In the digital age, artificial intelligence is redefining the contours of many industries, including the film dubbing industry, which seems to be generating as much enthusiasm as controversy. If AI replaces the voices of actors, our children will no longer hear human voices in cartoons, but the voices of robots, lacking any emotion or inventiveness.
This year, BRIFF and PlayRight are organising a round-table discussion bringing together leading figures from the French and Dutch dubbing industries to discuss the dangers and challenges facing film dubbing now and in the future as a result of the exponential development of artificial intelligence. A unique opportunity to exchange ideas on practices and solutions to preserve the integrity and quality of dubbing.
